Apple Inc. was founded back in 1976, Steve Jobs, Steve Wozniak and Ronald Wayne were the founders of the company. At the time when Apple was founded, computers used to be as big as the size of the room. Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak, both had an idea to entirely change the way people looked at these computers. They had planned to make computers small enough so that everyone could use it in their home rather than operating a big machine in a special environment.
The release of Apple I and II:
Apple I was created by Steve Wozniak back in 1976, and Steve Jobs had the idea to sale the computer in the market. It was discontinued on 30th September 1977 as it’s successor Apple II came up. It was an 8-bit personal computer and was introduced in West Coast Computer Faire redesigned with a built-in keyboard and case along with floppy disk drives.
Macintosh Release and War With IBM:
In January 1985, Apple launched Macintosh, and that received a whole round of applause as Steve Jobs unveiled it. That had a Motorola 68k chip and 128kb of RAM. It was a massive success of Apple, and the company went into war with IBM. Later on, Apple partnered up with IBM to produce Power PC processors.
Revolutionary Products of Apple
In 1998, Apple released iMac. That was a revolutionary machine of the time as it was really easy to use and connect to the internet. It also had USB ports to connect to external media. With that Apple started to rule the computer market once again. Just one year after that, iBook was released, and it was the first laptop introduced by Apple. It also had a WiFi card in it. Later the series was further classified into MacBook and MacBook Air.
The resignation of Steve Jobs:
Steve Jobs resigned as the CEO of Apple later on when Tim Cook took over but Steve was still on the board of directors, he worked every day at the company until his death on 5th October 2011. The factor of innovation in the company is no longer there, but still, Steve’s efforts and his innovative measures have significantly impacted the society and made our lives quite easier.
